The whole school came together to watch each other perform. They have spent the last term learning new skills, developing ideas and working together. They have developed some fantastic work and all very different from each other. Watch the video to see this wonderful sharing event.

A World of our Creation Y5 sharing session

Over the last few weeks Yr 5 have been developing their performance, 'A World Of Our Creation', inspired by Roald Dahl's BFG, and developing some fantastic ideas. Mrs McNulty has been exploring the concept of DANGER to create a short opera performance. Supported by Creative Practitioner Debbie McAndrew, the group have explored a range of subjects related to the theme of Danger and are developing them in to a song. A World Of Our Creation Y5

Year 5 have adapted Roald Dahl's BFG to create a performance called "A World Of Our Creation". Year 5 have explored a range of performance skills with Colin Kilbride. They created an imaginary world and developed a range of creatures that lived, worked and played there. Have a look at the video to see the children in action.

Terrific Mr Tiger Y4

Year 4 have been working with professional actor and performer Debbie McAndrew to create a short piece of opera. The group have been exploring tigers and have adapted Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr Fox to create an original piece of performance called "Terrific Mr Tiger". Year 3 have been creating a mini opera which uses Roald Dahl's Charlie and The Chocolate factory as its inspiration. Year 3 have been working with creative practitioner Colin Kilbride to create their own opera "Sallys Smile and the Fruitful Factory".
